WHO WE ARE

GAaNF is an organization that aims to (1) promote a paradigm shift in development cooperation between Africa and Germany, (2) combat the causes of flight in a practical way, and (3) shape the integration culture in Germany in a sustainable way. 

Africa should not only be seen as a crisis continent, but as a continent with great potentials. In particular, Africa is rich in raw materials, human resource, qualified skills, historical sites for researches and discoveries, unused productive land, opportunities for outsourcing of researches and productions etc. The focus of the cooperations therefore should not be majored on unilateral aid packages for Africa, but rather sustainable, mutual partnerships. This will not only strengthen Africa´s social, economic and political stability and thereby offer its citizens a positive future prospect within the continent, but also boost the growth potential of its partners.

Likewise GAaNF seeks to transform the narrative of Migration and Migrants. Migration has been largely negatively connoted with the challenges of migration dominating the narrative. Migration is a natural process and has alot of value addition to both the hosting countries and the countries of origin. Our approach towards development cooparation and the way of collaborations between Africa and Europe has a direct impact on Migration. The more destabilisation and dispacement we experience in Africa, the higher the tendency of irregular and forced migration within and outside Africa. It is therefore very crucial to commit to corporate social responsibility and common value systems that will promote fair development of all involved stakeholders and contribute to stability and growth in Africa as well. This will in return shift the focus from a need-oriented, to a more potential driven Migration and exchange.

A close collaboration with the African Diaspora and the African Ambassadors can help build the bridges and facilitate such mutual partnerships.

In this respect, GAaNF aims at enhancing these sustainable cooperations. We offer advisory services, create the right linkages between the Diaspora and the governement stakeholders, facilitate partnerships between Africa and Europe, perfom Advocacy work, lay platforms for exchange programs such as intercultural activities, B2B partnerships, educational and training exchange programs, host delegation trips, conduct researches and  needs-based project analysis, offer legal support and legal representation as regarding migration and cross-border collaborations and other consulting services.
