GAaNF was invited to take part in a panel discussion marking the 40th anniversary of the Selbsthilfezentrum München (SHZ).
The conversation was warm, honest, and thoughtful, with participants sharing personal perspectives and reflecting on what community-based support can make possible when people feel seen, heard, and connected.

We appreciated the space SHZ created for real dialogue and the care taken in moderating the discussion. Events like this are a reminder that strong communities don’t happen by accident. They are built through trust, listening, and organisations that make support accessible.

  • Reflections on the value of self-help and community support structures
