The Accra Job and Career Fair 2025 was a key activity under the Ghana Chapter of the 360° Labour Mobility Programme, designed to connect young talents with employers, career support services and practical information on employment and labour mobility pathways. Held in Accra on 08 August 2025, the fair responded to a central challenge faced by many young professionals: turning preparation into real access.

The fair brought together stakeholders from government, international organisations and the private sector. Participants had the opportunity to engage with institutions such as GIZ Ghana, the International Labour Organization, the Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations’ Labour Department and the Ghana Immigration Service. Companies from sectors including IT, hospitality and banking also took part, creating direct points of contact between young talents and potential employers.

The programme combined recruitment exposure with hands-on career development. Participants received one-on-one support through an interactive CV clinic, had professional headshots taken and recorded elevator pitches that could be reused when approaching employers. These practical tools helped turn preparation into visible, usable career assets.

In addition, the Labour Department and the Ghana Immigration Service delivered information sessions on employment rights, administrative procedures and domestic and international labour mobility pathways. These sessions helped participants better understand the regulatory environment linked to their career decisions.

For the Ghana Chapter, the fair demonstrated the value of coordinated action between institutions, employers and support services. It showed how young talents can be supported not only through training, but also through direct exposure, practical tools, clear information and access to networks that can help open doors to sustainable employment.
