Künstlermeile (SOMMA in der Stadt)
6 July 2025 | Haar (near Munich)
GAaNF took part in the Künstlermeile in Haar as part of the SOMMA in der Stadt programme,
an open-air summer event that brings together local initiatives, culture, and community life
in the town centre.
The day was shaped by a lively, informal atmosphere. The video impressions capture what made the Künstlermeile special:
people moving through the streets, stopping to talk, discovering initiatives, and engaging spontaneously. For GAaNF, this setting offered a valuable contrast to conference rooms and formal venues. It allowed conversations to happen naturally and accessibly,
with people approaching out of curiosity and interest.
Being present at the Künstlermeile meant visibility, but also listening. We shared information about our work, answered questions, and connected with residents, families, and other initiatives in a way that felt grounded and direct. Events like this remind us how important it is to meet people where they are, in spaces that feel open and welcoming.
Why events like this matter to us
- They create low-threshold access to information and dialogue
- They allow for real, unscripted conversations
- They strengthen local connections beyond formal networks
- They make community work visible in everyday public spaces
The Künstlermeile was a reminder that inclusion and exchange don’t only happen in structured formats.
They also grow through presence, openness, and shared moments in the public space.
