25.02.2022: Roundtable #Partizipation

Our Roundtable goes into the next round.
We cordially invite you to our next roundtable on the topic of #Participation in hybrid format.
Participation is an important principle of German development cooperation. It means that people (population groups, organizations, associations, parties) actively and significantly participate in all decisions that affect their lives. Participation helps target groups and partner organizations in development cooperation to articulate and assert their interests (empowerment). Participation also means that people bring their experiences and values into the joint work. In this way, they make the projects their own and take responsibility for their success (ownership) (see BMZ Encyclopedia, in German).
How can the interdisciplinary social participation of people with migration biographies be guaranteed with regard to the current demographic change?
Can governmental measures bring about a rethinking in society?
Which socio-political impulses can positively contribute to an inclusive private sector?
Discuss with us.
