Third Cohort Onboarding Ceremony

29 May 2026 | Accra, Ghana

As part of the Ghana Chapter of the 360° Labour Mobility Programme, GAaNF officially welcomed its third cohort of young talents during an onboarding ceremony held in Accra on 29 May 2026. The event marked the beginning of a new programme journey for young Ghanaian talents preparing for career opportunities in sectors such as IT and hospitality, with a particular focus on sustainable employment pathways in Ghana, Germany and the wider international labour mobility space.

The ceremony was held in a hybrid format, with participants and the GAaNF-Ghana team joining in person in Accra, while colleagues and partners from Nigeria and Germany connected virtually. Representatives of GAaNF, the 360° Alliance, the University of Cape Coast and regional programme teams introduced the structure of the programme, the support available to participants and the wider network behind the initiative.

For Cohort 3, the onboarding created the first shared programme experience. Participants were introduced to the journey ahead, including skills development, career readiness, peer exchange, mentorship and labour mobility guidance. The interactive Q&A session also gave them the opportunity to ask questions, understand expectations and begin building connections with their peers and programme partners.

This onboarding was an important milestone for the Ghana Chapter. With two cohorts already connected to GAaNF’s Alumni network, Cohort 3 begins its journey with a clear structure ahead and a growing community behind it. The ceremony set the tone for the months to come: practical support, open dialogue and cross-border collaboration between Ghana, Nigeria and Germany.
